Adam & Katie Reynolds
When we moved to Sheffield in 2003, we quickly fell in love with the city’s unique character, its beautiful surroundings and, most of all, its warm and welcoming people. It didn’t take long before Sheffield truly felt like home. Today, we’re proud to live and work here while raising our three sons.
Dore Garden Offices (DGO) was founded in 2012 by Adam and has grown into a trusted, family-run business built on craftsmanship, creativity and genuine customer care. In 2022, Adam’s wife, Katie, joined the business after a 28-year career in education, where she worked as both a teacher and Deputy Head. Her experience in leadership, organisation and supporting people has brought another valuable dimension to the company.
Before establishing DGO, Adam worked as a sculptor, designing and creating large-scale public artworks. His artistic background gave him a unique eye for design, proportion and detail, along with a passion for solving creative challenges. As he moved into structural design, he developed the distinctive DGO style of building—combining beautiful aesthetics with practical, adaptable construction. What began as a prototype in his own garden has grown into a business that designs and builds bespoke garden buildings across the region, with every project tailored to suit each client’s needs and lifestyle.
Katie has always been passionate about working with people. She loves getting to know our clients and making sure every project runs smoothly from the very first conversation through to completion. Friendly, approachable and highly organised, she is committed to ensuring every customer feels listened to, supported and looked after. Her passion for developing people continues within the business too, helping to create a skilled, motivated team that takes pride in delivering exceptional work.
Together, Adam and Katie’s complementary skills allow DGO to offer a personal, professional service that combines thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship and genuine customer care. As a family business, we understand how important your home is, and we treat every project with the same care and attention we would expect ourselves.
Supporting our local community is also incredibly important to us. Wherever possible, we work with local suppliers and businesses, helping to support the people and economy that have supported us over the years.
Outside of work, we’re proud supporters of Sheffield Tigers RUFC, where we enjoy being involved with the club, serving on the committee and sponsoring both junior teams and senior players. Giving something back to our local community is a big part of who we are, and something we’re proud to continue as DGO grows.

We pride ourselves on our team. Whilst for the most part we are outside your house, we never forget that we are working in your home. It is vital to us that you are comfortable throughout your build.

Ed
Since joining DGO in 2017, Ed has become one of our most versatile and respected managers. His deep understanding of every aspect of our work, combined with his excellent rapport with clients and colleagues, makes him a major contributor to our continued growth. Ed also plays a crucial role in developing new team members through hands-on training and guidance.

Harley
Harley joined our team in 2023 and quickly became a valued member. He is known for his respectful attitude, polite demeanour and strong work ethic. His enthusiasm for learning new skills has seen him develop into a competent installer and he has now been promoted to site manager. He is the epitome of our core values of providing a professional, responsible and respectful service.

Jack
Super keen and motivated, Jack joined us in 2025. He is incredibly strong and has already proven to be calm and considerate on site with a desire to learn and develop his skill set. His ability to pick up the variety of tools and processes we use has been super impressive and he has slotted into our team perfectly.

Martin
Martin brings a wealth of experience in various areas. Previously he has run his own landscaping business and worked across the construction industry so his skill set was perfect for DGO. Coupled with calmness and generosity, Martin has stepped into big shoes and is flying.
