Making the most of the space available

The garden was quite narrow and we were concerned the room would encroach too much so we designed the room with the client and went for this 4 x 2m room. It offers enough space inside for a variety of uses. As the room sat within the Peak District National Park we liased with the planning department about what would be acceptable in the space. During this negotiation, we agreed to move the room to the other side of the garden. The Thermowood (redwood) gives the room a smart finish on the visible sides but will fade to a lovely grey/brown which will be in keeping with the surroundings.
