This recent installation began as a dedicated garden office — but it quickly became so much more. Our client wanted a quiet, comfortable workspace at home, and we delivered a beautifully finished garden room complete with a separate secure store area.
Once the air conditioning went in, though, this garden room became the most comfortable space in the house! After the hot summer we’ve just had, it’s no surprise our client now plans to use it as a flexible family space — perfect for work, relaxing, or entertaining all year round.
The exterior is clad in Thermowood, carefully treated with Osmo UV Protection Oil to preserve that rich, warm tone and protect it from the elements. The outdoor air con (heat pump) unit is neatly integrated and functional, keeping the space cool in summer and cosy in winter.

Can I install air conditioning later if I realise I want it?
Yes, absolutely! Many of our clients choose to add air conditioning after they’ve started using their garden room. If you think you might want it in the future, we can future-proof the space during installation by adding the necessary outdoor power supply. This costs very little at the build stage and makes fitting an air conditioning unit later on quick and straightforward.
